Create a Stylish Christmas Table on a Budget

I love an occasion where I can dress up and style a unique matching dining table. Easter, Halloween or Christmas and I’m all over it!

However, this year I thought why not do something a little more cost effective. Okay, so this isn’t your traditional Christmas style, but I love it.

I scoured Target, Big W and Kmart, and the best options were Kmart and Target. My theme was pink and red, but you could add some green to make it a little more traditional if you want to, or even just to break up the pink and red and create some contrast.

Use plain white dinnerware and add brass cutlery, it works well with the two tone pink and yellow glassware

The marble cheese board is not overly large, but I’d use it for placing a butter dish, and salt and pepper grinders or shakers. And there’s matching coasters which are perfect.

I found the most gorgeous scalloped placemats and a matching runner that are right on trend and I mixed them back with some coloured glass candle stick holders. I would use the candle stick holders in multiples down the length of the table, even if it is just until you served the meal and then move them to a sideboard or another area.

Use the cute lolly serving dish for cakes and biscuits or have a few around the room with nuts and little sweet treats in them.

The red and pink Linear serving bowl would be fabulous for all your berries and the cute Joy dessert bowls are a touch of fun.

Of course, you could add to this, and I was tempted too but sometimes less is more, right?

May your Christmas be Merry (and stylish). See you in 2024!
