This Beaumaris living room was designed to feel warm, welcoming and effortlessly liveable while celebrating the client’s existing mid-century furniture. Rather than replacing much-loved pieces, the design layers thoughtful colour, texture and carefully selected furnishings to give the space a fresh sense of cohesion.
A palette of soft greens, provides a calm backdrop, allowing rich timber finishes, vintage cabinetry and statement upholstery to become the focal points. Custom soft furnishings introduce botanical patterns and warm coral tones that connect beautifully with the adjoining dining room, creating visual flow throughout the home.
Soft sage green, sheer drapes soften the light and add gentle texture, while carefully curated artwork and accessories bring personality without overwhelming the space. Every element was chosen to balance comfort with longevity, resulting in a living room that incorporates my client’s personalities, while feeling relaxed and designed for everyday life.

My clients dining room combines mid-century warmth with bold botanical design to create a space that feels inviting and full of personality. A statement wallpaper sets the tone, while timber furniture, natural textures and carefully chosen lighting provide balance and warmth. The result is a dining space that feels cohesive with the adjoining living room and perfectly suited to both everyday family meals and relaxed entertaining.
Designed around our client’s love of pink, this Beaumaris bathroom is a joyful yet refined retreat that balances warmth, texture and timeless materials. The design concept began with the Catherine Martin La Palma print, whose lush botanical pattern inspired the soft blush palette and subtle tropical influence carried throughout the space.
Handmade blush tiles create a warm backdrop, complemented by terrazzo-look porcelain tiles, a fluted floating vanity and matte black tapware for contrast. The La Palma print was reimagined as a custom Roman blind, creating a beautiful connection to the adjoining spaces while adding personality without overwhelming the room.
The result is a bathroom that feels calm, considered and deeply personal reflecting the client’s style while delivering a practical space designed for everyday living.
